I'm am more than excited for my best friend, Krystal, who will be marrying the man of her dreams in a few short weeks.
Andrew's family and close friends have been throwing Fiesta Wedding Showers for a few years now and I knew it was definitely something I wanted to do for Krystal and her fiancé. They have accumulated a ton of Fiesta decor and all I needed to do was add a few touches and things would be perfect!
We had so many amazing couples host the shower and without them it wouldn't have been a success. I have a problem with decorating and might be a little OCD when it comes to decorating my house so I decided that would be something I could contribute.
We gathered quite a few tables from neighbors and friends. It's amazing how much you can find just from asking friends. I ordered these white chairs from Any Occasion Party Rental and they were so cheap. The food was catered by Schobels' Restaurant and we couldn't have been happier with how amazing it all tasted. We enjoyed enchiladas, chicken fajitas, beans and rice. We were all so full but definitely saved room for the amazing cookies by my friend, Amanda Houser, and the tres leches from Taqueria Arandas. Great pick from my friend, Megan.
I ran to Bering's a few days before the shower and couldn't resist those amazing napkins and styrofoam cups. Aren't they hilarious?
The photo booth was something I also decided to do last minute and boy am I glad I did. Everybody had the opportunity to grab a picture in front of the backdrop and hold a fun prop. I bought the "prop" file from Printable Prop Shop on Etsy. I just laminated each piece and then used the hot glue gun to adhere it to the popsicle sticks. What's a backdrop without the couple's hashtag? Here's a quick pic of us! :) and the bride!
The party was absolutely amazing and I hope everybody had as much fun as I did! It's not that often you get to spend time with the friends you went to high school with and enjoy every bit of the evening. The kids spent the night with Grammy and Pops and we got to stay up late. That always feel so strange to me when I'm in my own home and my children aren't there.
Thank you to all the host/hostess who made this party a success! I can't wait for the wedding!
