YAY! I'm finally able to share with you my office reveal. It's only taken months, I know! I am usually the type of decorator that wants things done in a week and I also think Rome was created over night. It's hard for me to constantly remind myself of that.
I have to first start off by saying thank you to all the amazing sponsors that had faith in me and helped me make this room into reality. It definitely couldn't have been done with your help.
When I first went to my husband asking to turn our dining room into an office he basically looked the other way, stared at his tv show and said NO. It then took me about a week to finally convince him that it was going to happen. I didn't need any help but the room would be an office eventually. That was back in June and now here we are in November and it's finally DONE!
When I thought of an office space, I knew I wanted something very different. I want something I haven't done before and I wanted to take a chance. I had been eyeing this Thibaut Tanzania wallpaper for quite some time and knew it was the perfect fit for this space. Obviously I'm obsessed with black and white so why not put it on the walls, right? Once I picked out the wallpaper I heard from Circa Lighting and did such a wonderful collaboration with them at the Houston location.
Details: Wallpaper | Lighting | Desk | Chair and here | Rug, similar | Longhorn Art | Zebra Pillow, similar here and here | Bar Cart | Acrylic Pen Holder from Bering's | Acrylic Stapler from Bering's | Acrylic Tape Dispenser from Bering's | Baccarat Butterfly from Bering's | Acrylic Business Card Holder | Parima Studio | Motif Pillows
The chairs have been the perfect pop of color for this room. I found them at an estate sale and when I pulled up at home and unloaded them I'm pretty sure my husband's jaw dropped. He couldn't believe I just bought green chairs. I knew they were going to be perfect once the wallpaper was installed. The style of the chair gives the room a touch of traditional while the wallpaper keeps it a bit modern. I love to mix!
The leopard pillows have been on my list for a long time and this was the perfect setting for them. I thought about pillows for a long time and looked at numerous different styles. The leopard pillows are definitely my favorite, I think I need more. :)
Last but certainly not least was the piece of Art from Parima Studio. It pulls the whole room together and I could't imagine the room without this piece. It's been such a top of conversation with my guest.
I have really enjoyed creating this space that is reflective of me and my style. I hope it has given you inspiration to take on your next interior project. xo!
