Well friends- Thanksgiving is definitely upon us now. I had the pleasure of working with Bering's on a collaboration this month and couldn't be happier with the outcome. I decided to create this beautiful tablescape at my sister's house in my home town. It's not often that both of my sisters, myself and my Mother are all in one location. We had so much fun shooting!
I knew I was going for a rustic look because my sister's home is very rustic and beautiful. This outdoor table set the mood for a traditional and fun Thanksgiving feast! The sweet ladies at Bering's had some great advice on pulling out colors from the plaid napkins. That morning I cut fresh rosemary from the backyard and used it with our place settings. The centerpiece was filled with cabbage, twigs, velvet pumpkins and greenery. The lanterns pulled it all together.
Obviously we weren't going to forget the wine. The Truchard Family was originally from my hometown of Columbus and have lived in Napa for years. When we visited Napa a few years ago we had a wonderful tour of their vineyard and obviously fell in love with the wine. The scenery there is absolutely stunning. My favorite has to be the Pinot Noir.
