It definitely is starting to feel like summer down in Houston. The humid, sticky air has arrived my friends. I know the past couple of days have been nice but it's just a tease. When I walked into Muse I knew this Trina Turk romper would take me to an island getaway. Don't you feel like jumping on a plane and heading to the beach when you see this piece? The sad part is that won't be happening for me anytime soon.
The great thing about this romper is you can wear it very casual, as a swim suit cover up, or dress it up for a girl's night. If you go for the more casual look think, swim suit cover up or nude flip flops and stud earrings. Going out with the girls, maybe somewhere outdoors, add nude heels and a white blazer.
Trina Turk is known for her vibrant colored designs mixed with a bit of a modern flair. I fell in love with this piece not only because of the beautiful colored pattern but also because it screams MODERN. Recently I have been obsessed with adding modern touches to my home. A few years ago you couldn't convince me to buy a modern piece of furniture if you tried. In the past month I have splurged on a ghost chair and acrylic coffee table. I thought my husband was going to throw it out the back door. Luckily, I have convinced him otherwise. I also have an itch to start adding more color to my home. I seem to have a decorating problem. I am constantly rearranging and moving furniture and decor from one room to another. I could go on and on but we will talk about that another day on the blog. Are you dying for any modern pieces to add to your home? Never say never!
