I had so much fun with this outfit and this shoot. My photographer had the idea of doing photos in a parking garage and when she sent me her inspiration I knew I had to find the "perfect" outfit.
When I arrived at Cheeky Vintage and started talking to Valerie about our ideas she immedietly pulled out this skirt and I didn't even know what to say. It is the MOST amazing skirt I've ever owned. I can now say I own it because after shooting this skirt I couldn't give it back! The skirt is by Adolfo and used to be sold at Saks Fifth Avenue. Adolfo was a popular brand in the 60's and loved by Mrs. Reagan herself. The color of this skirt pops and the fabric almost looks like crepe paper streamers. Ready for a party!
I always find it so interesting to watch trends come back into style. This vintage sequined top is a crop top. I know for a few years we didn't see crop tops and now every store carries one. After decided on the red skirt I wanted to add in sequins and this top was definitely the winner. It's such a fun addition to this skirt. I know I said it above but I had so much fun with this outfit.
With all that being said about this skirt and check out the back. It even has a cute bow! How feminine is that? I can't wait to take this skirt with me to New York in September, it has me all excited!
