I've been trying to write this post all day and literally every spare second I get I work on it.  It's crazy how during the school year I work full time and manage to get everything done during the week at some point.  It's Summer now and I'm scrambling to get things done and I'm not working. How does that play out? I'm confused!

We spent last weekend in Columbus (my hometown) and watched my niece and nephews while my sister and brother-in-law were out of town. It was a nice getaway and we made it back to town before traffic was terrible. That's always a plus especially with little ones in tow. Speaking of little ones they are back at camp this week, which is basically a school day for them but with more fun summer activities. It's nice to get a little break but when you run errands all day you realize how quickly the day goes by.

I'm really excited about this post because it shows you the simple side of me and my Fashion. Yes, sometimes I like to wear neutrals!

I know I flood my blog with lots of color because to me that's fun and it resembles my personality.  Believe it or not I do love to wear neutrals, especially in the Summer time.  I think it's an easy go to outfit that you can pull together quickly. Whether it's all white or shades of white, shades of ivory, all black, or shades of gray you have so many choices. Lately I've been wearing neutrals and dressing them up with a fun chunky necklace or earrings. I recently scored a fun necklace on vacation and can't wait to share it with you all.

I'm in love with these wide leg linen pants from Ann Taylor.  They are very breezy and great for our Houston weather, which is HOT and HUMID.  During the summer it's always hard to pull out a pair a pants because you know how miserable you might be once you step out the door. These pants are very different, they won't cling to your leg and make you feel hot and sticky. It's your best bet when picking a pair of pants for Summer.

I've also been carrying my monogrammed Cuyana tote lately as well.  I can throw so many things in that bag and it's not super heavy.  I've realized what heavy purses do to your shoulder and back.  It's been a problem lately which is why I've been carrying this handbag.  Seriously, it's super light weight.
