Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was absolutely fabulous because I got to spend it with some of my best friends. Guess what we did? We celebrated my birthday once again. I know at some point I'm going to have to stop celebrating but how could I say no? Two of my really good friends had precious babies this Summer so you can only imagine how busy they are right now. I feel so blessed to have such amazing friends! We started off with brunch at Tiny Boxwoods which is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston. I enjoyed the avocado BLT with a white wine mojito which is a must have if you ever visit.  We then took the party to the Four Seasons Downtown Houston.  They had everything decorated so cute and it was pure relaxation from there.  I hope you followed along on Snapchat: Simply Ollie. The rain did hold off most of the afternoon and when it did decide to rain we headed to the steam room.  This was by far one of the best steam rooms.  Later that evening we dined at Anejo in a private room with lots of laughs and memories.

This outfit is perfect for me for so many reasons.  PLUS--- the dress and backpack are on super sale! The reason I love this outfit is because it's extremely comfortable and cute at the same time. I have a bit of a sneaker obsession so when I found these at J.Crew recently I knew they were a must have! I actually had a "sneaker" conversation recently with one of my coworkers. She told me that she really wanted to wear sneakers with dresses and skirts but didn't know how.  The best advice I can give is you have to feel comfortable. If you are going to wear it, own it! I wear my sneakers with just about anything.  Try it out! Don't think you can't pair them with a dress or skirt because that is just crazy. I normally only pair my sneakers with dresses and skirts. It gives a different look but it's still cute, I promise! Not to mention your feet will thank you.  Start with a basic pair first, nothing too crazy with color.

I have to talk about this vest because it's been on major repeat lately.  One of the reasons is because of work.  We aren't really allowed to wear spaghetti straps or strapless so this vest is super convenient. There is something about the army green color that goes with just about anything. It's lightweight, which is great for Texas and gives your outfit an entirely different look.
