Hi- Hi- Hi! I've taken the past few days off and it's felt pretty good. We spend last weekend at the lake and enjoyed time with the kids.  They are literally "fish" in the water now. It's amazing how much they grow from Summer to Summer. They are at a really fun age and we are thoroughly enjoying it. This week is the first officially week of Summer break and we are off to a great start. I obviously home with the kids and the rain hasn't been in our favor the past few weeks here in Texas.  We are doing our best to stay busy when the rain decides to stay away, it's hard to predict. We spent Tuesday at the ZOO and stayed for a very long time, I'm positive we saw each animal at least twice if not more! (oh my!) I was pretty sad the elephants are closed while they build a new home for them at the Houston Zoo. They are featuring a really cool Dinosaur exhibit and my kids really enjoyed walking through and listening to the different sounds of each dinosaur. We got together with our neighbor friends at the park Wednesday morning and played our hearts out before it decided to rain Wednesday afternoon/evening. We've been busy, right? It's not just me imagining that?? We got to spend Thursday morning shopping with Grammy for new Summer clothes that will be perfect for our upcoming trip to the beach. Let me know if you have any suggestions for flying with little ones, it will be our first time!

Let's get to fashion now that I've filled you in on our exciting week...(btw plan to see a lot of the kiddos on my Instagram this Summer- it's my life!)

I'm sad to say this dress has officially sold out and I wish I could have shared it with you earlier. It sat in my closet for a while and then I was finally able to wear it to my sister-in-laws shower.  I just love the print! I know yellow is a hard color for some people and I don't always feel comfortable in it but for some reason this works! I actually wore this dress to work and I put my black crop top over it and everybody just thought it was a skirt. I loved the look! Since this is sold out I've linked a few other dresses that I love as well. This Trina Turk pineapple dress screams Summer to me! If you can't pull off yellow you can definitely pull off turquoise. I'm also loving this silk tank dress from Nordstrom. It's a different look but I could see myself throwing this on to run errands with a pair of lace up gladiator sandals. Easy, comfy and cute!

When I look at these photos I really can't believe I've fallen in love with white/ivory sunglasses. I used to be so against them until I tried these Tom Ford sunglasses on at Monkee's of Houston.  The cat eye is subtle and perfect! I think because they are more of an ivory color it isn't such a stark contrast on my face. I literally can't stop wearing these and they make any outfit look amazing.  They add an quick pop to whatever you are wearing.
