Obviously I think these pictures are absolutely precious. For those of you that don't know, my blog is named after this adorable girl in the pictures known as Olivia. When I decided I was going to start a blog I realized coming up with a name is really hard to do. I wanted it to be sentimental and mean something. I know it sounds crazy but I did know I didn't want to use my first or last name. Olivia was about 18 months and her personality was starting to shine. It hit me then that I wanted the blog to have something to do with her name. I get asked often, well don't you have another child? Yes, yes I do and he's the sweetest little boy I've ever met but he's a boy. I know Olivia and I will relate to this blog in the future more than Andy and I ever will, we all know he will enjoy spending time outside doing "boy" things. I will have to say I love dressing Andy way more than I ever imagined. Little boy clothes are adorable and handsome. Okay, okay, I'm getting off subject. Once I realized the blog name was going to have something to do with Olivia my brain finally starting ticking. Her teacher's were calling her "Ollie" (Oh-lee) and I had never heard that before. My husband and I instantly loved it and here we are today writing post on Simply Ollie blog! I love it!
I'm going to call the look below her, "I didn't do that Mom & Dad, I would never do anything wrong" look! What do you think? If you know anything about Olivia you know this look happens numerous times in ONE day. She is a very confident and strong willed little girl that we love very much!
I have to give my little ones credit because they are usually so well behaved when Krista comes to town for pictures. I always get stressed when I know we are going to do something that involves photographing the kids. Are they going to stay clean? Are they going to stand still? Are they going to listen? Are they going to smile? I stress myself out and then they are amazing. Olivia, who I recently said above, is very strong willed child was the sweetest and so well-mannered for this shoot.
I found this adorable tea set at Lerant here in Houston and Olivia and her friends enjoyed having tea and treats for a sweet Valentine's Day tea party. The cutest part was when Olivia took her pink bear and instead of holding the tea cup up to the bear's mouth she decided the bear needed to go straight into the tea cup, face first. Adorable! Head over to Lerant or give them a call to order this tea set for your little loved ones!
