Well, it’s my last post with a short recap from New York Fashion Week. It’s a little sad to think it’s been close to month now since NYFW. I feel like the older you get the faster time moves, is that true? I saved this amazing Trina Turk dress as my last look and don’t judge how cold I looked in these photos. This was the day before we left and it was probably 20 degrees outside. My body was burning, I was so cold. I was getting a lot of looks because as you can tell this dress is definitely meant for the Spring or Summer. Silly me!
I love this dress so much because it feels vintage to me. I have really grown a huge heart for vintage clothes and accessories. I can’t seem to walk out of Cheeky Vintage without something in my hand. The print on this dress tells me that it was inspired by something fun and vintage. Did you know that a lot of designers pull looks from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s to get inspiration for their new lines? I think that’s so cool and when you really start to look into fashion and design you can quickly figure out what era the print came from, most of the time. This dress could definitely take you into the cooler months by adding a cropped sweater and tights or a button down and tights. Booties would top off the look perfectly.
Have a great weekend friends! xo!
